DHS 2: Bring back hockey (Part 2)

Part 2 of the second episode of the Drunk Hockey Show continues. If you missed part 1, go listen now. Still in studio Marshall Stevenson (@spryd) was joined by co-host “that drunk guy” Jeff Stevenson (@WWoJeff) and through the battles of technology and the magical powers of the interwebs writer, actor and producer Jeremy Larter (@JeremyLarter) also joined in on the show.

After a hilarious drunk dial, to Ryan of Giving In, the topics went back to hockey. More accurately about where you would put a team if you were the most hated man in Canada…which was determined an a non-existent, informal pole to be Gary Bettman. The conversation hit on expansion and contraction and a lot of the smaller market, non-hockey market teams.

Finally discussion went to whether the Stanley Cup should be taken away from the NHL if the lockout lasts the whole season. This is interesting as the CHLPA has petitioned to play for the cup recently. If you recall, in episode 1 we discussed the thoughts of a lockout due to the start of the CHLPA.

At the end of the show, the beer count was down just like the brain cells.

Jeremy consumed 7 (with a little help from his brother Larry), Jeff downed 6 and Marshall hit 7…sort of. The beer out of the nose hurt so much we gave him credit for it just the same.
