PRE-GAME: Jets host Sabres and looking to repeat in return to the Hangar

Winning their last game over the Buffalo Sabres in OT 2-1, the Winnipeg Jets host them tonight at the MTS centre. Both Jets and Sabres teams are on a down and out after losing their games Tuesday night. Winnipeg is confident that they have what it takes to take down the Sabres once more.

Hopefully the Jets bring it on hard after a devastating loss to the New Jersey Devils on the road Tuesday, and the Sabres to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Jets better hope they make some changes fast and rest up for tonight’s battle with the Sabres. With a packed house, the deafening MTS centre will get everyone’s adrenaline running as there are high hopes in this match up. It’s no doubt that the Winnipeg crowd can bring any spirit up as these faithful fans are desperate for a win – and now.  From any seat in the house we need to see some hard-hitting results for a win and the Jets definitely have the fuel to do it!

Powerhouse Byfuglien is not expected to play tonight, but the Jets sure could use him. Once he’s off the injured list and puts his All-star talent on the ice, we’re guaranteed a knockout night. Tonight, if Kane has the capacity to get his dynamite shots through Ryan Miller’s tight glove on goal, we can be in the running for the playoffs. Of course we’re hopeful that Blake Wheeler will also return to the ice tonight after suffering a puck to the throat in Saturday’s game against the Devils. Nik Atropov may be the one to look for with some assists to Wheeler. However they do it, the Jets gotta make it happen and they gotta make it count!

See you at the Game
