Both guys in the studio, two weeks in a row?! It’s true and tonight there was no shortage of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey to talk about. We appreciated your feedback on whether players should say no to their country to focus on their NHL team. Some great thoughts and conversation were spawned from emails and voicemail.
The question this week, should the overtime format change? Thanks to conversations tabled at the GM meetings, this is becoming a revived topic. Call us anytime before 6:30 pm CT on Tuesday November 19 toll-free at 855-321-JETS (5387).
The Jets won 3 of 4 games over the last week with a lot of things to talk about like Byfuglien and Bogosian finally getting their first goals; Evander Kane being what some consider, a healthy scratch; and unfortunately the status of Jim Slater after surgery. We’ve spoken before about how Detroit sucks and now with the Red Wings longest home losing skid in over 16-years, we can point and laugh a little more. Heck, there’s even a shirt!
This episodes Prospect Report, Jeff talks about Joshua Morrissey currently of the Prince Albert Raiders and to possibly see him take a spot next season, but more likely in 2015.
The Winnipeg Jets are off on the road for a quick game, then back home for a pair, then back on the road. We predict the games as follows:
For what it’s worth, Jeff is 4-6 on predictions while Marshall sits at an even .500 5-5.
Check this out if you’re looking for Winnipeg Jets tickets.
In other news we chat about the St. John’s IceCaps third jersey, the rumours of Eberle being shopped around and the serious Stamkos injury that isn’t a Russian conspiracy.
